Reverb Nation Crowd Reviews

(Below are reviews for some of our fans’ favorite songs)

Green Hugs –

“The use of natural instruments works well in this genre and is done very on-point in this song. The simplicity of the song is also reminiscent of older music, which makes the lines about the woods feel like there is a connection to the appreciation of older ways of living. The vocals are quaint in a similar respect, very vulnerable and innocent in nature. “

“Instantly my ear is drawn by the mix. The drums and the acoustic guitar at the opening are reminiscent of Neil Young mixing. I like the rhythm to the lyrics, I could see this playing on a Indie radio station.”

Pensando –

“Very well written song and nice thought lyrics, I’d love to listen to this song because it has a very melodious track and its ability to make a transition between beat from point A to point B, very quality and well verse with a good sequence at the start and the end.”

“I love how the instruments are simple and then the artists starts to sing. This song is catchy, punchy and people will sing to this song as soon as they start to listen to it. The story of this song is great. I know so many people that can relate to this story. This song can be on the radio now. The hook is so cool, I was listening and singing at one point to this song. It’s so different in its own way and so much fun to listen to. This is a loving fun song. The artist sounds like he is having fun when he sings this and the whistling just makes it, its own song. Perfect vibe!”

Hesitate –

“Mellow coffee house feel. The music is complemented by the soulful vocals with excellent delivery. Meaningful lyrics that are based on basic human experiences that we can all relate to, acoustic guitar is the glue of this song. I would like to hear it again.”

“The intro is very indie rock mixed with new wave influences. The instrumentation is acoustic and all-natural sounding. I really like the vocals as they are completely new in style, pitch and tone. There’s no official musical term that can describe them as of yet. They sound a little shaky and filled to the brim with emotion. I think this quality really gives this song the real, genuine spark that listeners are looking for. All of these things go well with the lamenting, upset nature of the lyrics. I think this is a very unique track and is innovative regarding the vocals and instrumentation. I was very well intellectually satisfied with this song.”

Fog Children –

“The opening to this song is very memorable, powerful. The way the drums kick in sounds wonderful! The Bass guitar is one of my favorite instruments in this song. The singers has a very clean, well shaped voice. The vocal performance on this song is outstanding. Overall, this song has great potential. Its very peaceful vocally, but the beat is powerful. It grabs my attention until the very end. I enjoyed this song.”

“Smooth, melodic, calm relaxed track. The lyrics in this track told a great story of being high in love. This is a great track to relax too. I was refocused by the euphonious tones and lazy vocals. This arrangement is soul reaching, great music for meditation. I feel so high and relaxed from this song.”

Pools –

“This song is excellent. The range of the chorus was dramatic; the message had a nice movement and the verse’s direction is quite sensual and thick. The song is beautiful and intense; I like that the bass expands and the really clever source material setup employed by the piece was great. This song has an unusually lofi percussion setup with its absolutely outstanding, fascinating dynamism. Musically it shows warm, unique impact and the vocalizing continues masterfully; the arrangement of this track was good. This song sounds exceptionally strong.”

“Bitter sweet chords and unusual breaks begin this pleasant song. A narrative structure in the lyrics is anything but simple. The singer delivers rimes within lines and cadences that might be lost by a lesser artist. The percussionist hits the right tones and balances perfectly. A very pleasant song that is also artistically valid and original. The melody alone makes it worth listening too again.”

Kern –

“The melody to this is very smooth and graceful. The blend of the instruments in this are attractive and are well shaped for a good ample tune. The sound of the lyrics in this are easy, and they’re in good taste. The singer in this has a very spry sound, his voice is fresh and genuine.”

“A satisfying song that had enjoyable activity. The composition’s jump is clear and controlled. It was both wild and compact. The singing had a great atmosphere; the verse appears remarkably composed and the instrumentation was soulful. The precision of the beat was excellent. The melody’s action is playful and the arrangement of the song was intensely exceptional; the chorus has a good novelty that the monstrous tune strengthens.”
